As the mayor of Sagumzeit, Johann has lots of responsibilities.
He is a former adventurer (Fighter 10) from the Northern regions of Brechtur. He almost lost his life to the Hag, and retired soon after... He is an accomplished musician (harpsichord, woodwind), and often plays at the court for Richard Talbehr, the regent of Muden. He is a very fair ruler, and often solve many of the internal problems himself.
His major concern might be the Journeymen, a band of thieves (actually bards) who ransom passing by nobles and guildmasters after displaying their musical performances.
The presence of the adventurers is very soothing to him, especially thanks to the presence of the paladins. To prove his support to the party, The Golden Albatross has been exempted of city taxes for a year.
