The City of Sagumzeit

Fifty years ago, a group of merchants settled in the town of Sagumzeit, in the province of Kostwode. However, as most Brechts ship their goods by sea, and considering the poor conditions of the local harbor (small and rocky), most of the routes are left to visiting merchants. The militia patrols on a very regular basis, to keep the commerce attractive, but marauding bands of Gnolls - like The Brass Fur Tribe - or bandits -like The Journeymen - make the life in the nearby forests uneasy. The mayor Johann Gilmour struggles to make the forests and roads safer, and many adventurers hired in the Sagumzeit region work on that.
The Golden Albatross is the most popular tavern in the dock area, probably because it is the only one... Held by Wilhem Bracht, an semi-retired adventurer and member of the famous Wavebreakers Guild, it is very prosperous and is used a a base of operations by the adventuring party.
The population of Sagumzeit is overall happy, despite the poor trading conditions, and very respectful of the nearby forests - planting two saplings for each tree they cut.
